I give the Samsung SSD deal a 5/5 Editor's deal rating not because it's the lowest price I've seen on the 8TB version (it was almost 60% off around December 2024), but because it's excellent value for such a high-capacity SSD. For about $60 per TB, you can get enough storage space to back up your entire desktop, laptop, digital game library, and online photo albums, and have space left over. It's great value for a somewhat rugged SSD, with a case that can withstand drops up to six feet, but doesn't add a ton of weight or bulk.
