Where is power draconian? ›

Power pips count as two pips for any spells you cast that are from your school. If you have two power pips and one regular and you cast a three pip spell from another school it will wipe out all your pips because those power pips each just count as one.

You can purchase a jewel from the Wizard City Jewel Vendor to allow you to get Archmastery below level 50. This way you can generate school pips. It is a tear shaped jewel and costs gold. There is also a square shaped Archmastery + 1 gem from the same vendor.

Wands and swords can give that additional pip or power pip. Starting at level 30, you can buy a staff at the bazzar (or win one in Marleybone as a boss drop) that gives you a free normal pip. Starting at level 40, you can get a boss drop in Moo Shu that is a sword that gives you a free power pip.

Base power pip chance without gear from level 50+ is 40%, meaning 1-40 = power pip and 41-100 = white pip. You read it wrong. If the random number generator spits out an 88 and you have a 90% pip chance, then you get a power pip, because your pip chance is greater than that. If it spits out a 92, you get a noob pip.

Everybody's maximum pip number only goes to 7. To cast spells with more than 7 pips, you need powerpips! Seriously, if you get 7 pips it's almost impossible to not get at least one powerpip.

School Pips work like Power Pips but are a little harder to get and use, so KI assigned them additional value in the spell audit. And in much the same way Shadow Pips work, they assign an exact school pip cost to a spell. So you might find a Death spell that requires you to have at least one Death pip to cast it.

You probably already know that death is by far the easiest school to solo as. This is because of death's drain spells. They keep you alive and deal damage at the same time, so if you time your hits correctly you will almost never die. Death also has good resist, health, etc, so staying alive isn't a problem.

Find a high-level friend.

If you can join up with a few high-level wizards, they can teleport you to one of the later dungeons. You won't need to participate in the fights, but you will still gain all of their experience. By using this method, you can go from level 1 to level 18 in just a few minutes.

School pips can be used as power pips for another school like Mastery Amulets, except you can change your Archmastery school even in the middle of a fight, giving you access to power pips from any school you want.

The Numerical Value of a Pip

In the majority of currency pairs, such as the popular EUR/USD, a pip is typically equivalent to a change of 0.0001 or 1/100th of a percent. When you see the EUR/USD trading at 1.2000 and then it moves to 1.2001, this 0.0001 movement signifies a one-pip change.

It all began with the pip, a life wizards can use fire spells using pips. Then came the power pip, a life wizard could use a power pip to count as 2 pips but a fire could not use power pips for a life spell. The fire uses power pips for a fire spell.
